In episode 3 you’ll see Fletcher’s friends take the letter card with the letter “o” sound up the slide and saying that sound as they slide down the slide. Then they will seamlessly add the “n” sound from the letter card the parent is holding at the bottom of the slide. while singing the “Sliding Sound Out” song.

Another example of adding excitement and incentive to practice their new reading skills and use problem-solving is for kids to go on treasure hunts by finding and reading clue cards until they find a hidden treasure.
